Cocktail bar for the Jenéa by Jenny showroom opening

In short

At a showroom opening guests walk the space glass in hand, so the drinks must look good in photos too. Jenéa approved the menu first; we poured 60 on the day.

Step 1 · Before opening

It started with a tasting session

Jenéa by Jenny opened its showroom in Tan Dinh ward, Ho Chi Minh City on 12 June 2026. Before opening day, we invited the founder in to taste the entire drinks menu.

The bartender mixed each glass in front of her, explained how the flavours were built, and adjusted on the spot — sweetness, acidity, colour, garnish.

Once she had chosen, the menu was locked. On opening day the team simply remade exactly what had been approved.

A menu built for an opening

A showroom opening is not a seated party: guests come and go, everyone holds a glass while walking the space, and phones are always ready. The drinks had to look good, drink easily, and survive being carried around without going flat.

We built the menu around a few bold-coloured glasses finished with fresh herbs that lift the moment you raise them. Alongside sat alcohol-free options presented identically, for guests driving or simply not drinking.

The entire beverage programme for the event — alcoholic and alcohol-free — was delivered by Bartender.com.vn.

Building the bar inside the showroom

The showroom was brand new — bright and uncluttered — so the bar had to sit inside the space rather than dominate it. We built it from white plinths against the signage wall, matching the interior palette.

Glassware was laid out in a long row across the counter: fast to serve from, and a decorative element in its own right. Ingredients, ice and tools were grouped by drink family to keep each round short.

Service on opening day

Throughout the event the bartender mixed in full view of guests. Shaking, pouring and stirring happened in the open, right beneath the Jenéa signage — keeping every glass freshly made and giving waiting guests something to watch.

The team worked in dark uniform, kept the station clean for the duration, and cleared the space fully once the programme ended.

Outcome

The team served around 60 drinks on the spot through the opening, exactly to the menu approved at the tasting.

For an opening, a cocktail bar is more than a drinks station. It keeps guests in the room longer, gives people a reason to stop and talk, and hands the brand one more good-looking corner to photograph.

Frequently asked questions

Is a cocktail bar worth it for a store opening?

Very much so, if you want guests to stay. A live bar sets the rhythm of an opening: guests have a reason to linger, a good-looking glass to photograph against the new space, and the store gains a lively focal point instead of a table of bottled water.

Does the bar take up much showroom floor?

No. The bar is built to your actual floor plan and can sit compactly on mobile plinths against a wall, in a palette matched to your interior so it does not break the look. We check the position beforehand so it never cuts across the visitor route.

Do you run a tasting beforehand?

Yes. We invite you to taste and approve the full menu before the date. The bartender mixes each drink in front of you, you comment, and we adjust on the spot. The menu locked at that session is exactly what gets served on the day.

Do you cater for guests who do not drink alcohol?

Yes. Every menu includes alcohol-free versions with equivalent presentation and garnish, for guests who are driving or simply not drinking. It is a default on every event we deliver.

How far in advance should I book?
